Job Summary:
The Technical Support Engineer (Tech_Support_Advisor) Provides Support Focused on Consumer Class Product(s), Troubleshoot Complicated Issue(s) and Guide Clients towards an Appropriate Resolution. The incumbent would also Serve as the First Level of Support for Business Class Product(s), such as Managed/Unmanaged Switches, VPN and Security Products, Wireless Controller/Access Points, and Network Storage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Level 1 Support for Business Class Products – VPN, NAS,  Switches, WLAN and VLAN
• Assess the Need for Replacement of Products – Takes the  Lead in Submitting and Monitoring Replacement Requests
• Perform Outbound Calls as Needed to Close Out Pending  or Unresolved Concerns – Reports and Submits Call Logs,  Product Issues and Outbound Reports
• Coordinate w/ L3 Support Engineers for Escalated Issues
• Provides Pre/Post-Sales Technical Support to Re-Sellers

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering – With Related Work Experience
• At least One (1) Year of Technical Support Experience in  a BPO Set-Up or Related Environment/Function
• Strong Knowledge/Experience: CCNA Routing/Switching  (Wireshark, OSI, Tunnel/Transport Protocols)
• Knowledge on Firewalls – Use & Connection to Routers
• Knowledge on VLAN/WLAN, Network Attached Storage,  Raid – Purpose & Levels; Linux OS Knowledge is a Plus
• On Certification Requirement(s) = CCNA Certification or Subject / Cisco Certification
